Arieso was acquired by JDS Uniphase during March 2013 for $85 million in cash, at a multiple of 4.25x the company’s 2012 revenues.

Arieso develops and sells a suite of software products that enable mobile network operators to monitor the quality of service experienced by their customers. This information is used to maintain and optimise the existing network and plan the introduction of further upgrades, including new technologies. Arieso’s product range was initially focused on 3G networks, but has now been expanded to include GSM for legacy operators and, more importantly, LTE/4G.
