 Business Development Manager
The Opportunity:  

We are recruiting into our Investor Relations team for a Business Development Manager.

For over 20 years, we have offered private investors and family offices access to some of the most impactful technology companies in sectors which the UK is considered a world leader.  We partner with founders to grow their businesses and deliver meaningful impact beyond just financial returns.  Alongside our venture capital funds, we have set up and manage a range of alternative investment and private capital strategies.

Responsibilities

Mission:

  • Cultivating existing relationships within the present client base and establishing new relationships to drive the ongoing raising of funds for our investment management offerings.
  • To represent the Firm and communicate its investment strategy and products to investors
  • Increasing the value of current customers, whilst attracting and onboarding new ones
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing and sales initiatives
  • Researching to find new investors and opportunities
  • Attending conferences, industry events and investor meetings

 

The person

Essential:

  • 2.1 Degree
  • 5+ years experience in a sales/ business development / Investor relations / front office role
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong IT skills and record keeping
  • Solutions orientated, proactive and self-starter mentality
  • Team player

 

Desirable:

Experience preferably in financial services / alternative investments

Qualifications: IMC / IAD (Level 4) – or equivalent

Use of salesforce
