The Team

Jonnie is responsible for Compliance at Oxford Capital, protecting the firm’s clients and the firm itself, enabling the business and ensuring it is run in compliance with all relevant legislation whilst fostering an open and honest, client-focused culture. Jonnie also serves as a Financial Services Specialist on the Regulation & Compliance exam panel for the CISI, which develops the questions and marking schemes for the Level 6 narrative exam.

After a decade as a helicopter pilot in the Royal Air Force he began his career in Financial Services with Morgan Stanley in Investment Banking Operations where he specialised in regulatory change and ran client services teams. He then moved to HSBC, heading up a cross-street centralised AML/KYC database initiative. He holds the Investment Advice Diploma, Investment Operations Certificate and is a Prince II Practitioner. Jonnie is a member of the CISI, having gained a Distinction in his Level 6 Diploma in Investment Compliance. Jonnie has a degree in Classics from the University of Oxford (Hertford College).

Jonnie is a keen sportsman, still playing cricket, golf and squash and is a decidedly amateurish allotment holder.
